What has to be true

Five thousand bottles is a commercial or collector search. It is not a model. A room that actually holds 5,000 bottles with aisles and display glass is usually well past 2,000 ft3. One APEX 7000 is rated to about 2,000 ft3. Past that you are talking two cabinets, a different layout, or a smaller room with warehouse racking and no tasting aisle. We do not invent a fourth APEX size to match the search.
Do not stack two 7000s to hide a glass box. Envelope first. If the amenity is a glass cube on a sunny wall, fix glass and insulation before you add compressors. Each cabinet still needs 50-77F ambient, a dedicated circuit (20A each on 7000), its own drain, and licensed HVAC. Two cabinets in a leaky room is two warranties waiting to be argued.
Developers and clubs should treat this as a package: unit count, envelope rules, install path, and who holds the warranty. Cooling is still 15 to 25% of a custom cellar package. Hospitality loads apply if this is a dining-room wall. Kitchen heat, noise, and local R-290 rules for the mechanical space all show up at this scale. A house BTU number is the wrong start. So is a 500-bottle page with the numbers multiplied by ten. Measure this room as its own job.
There is an honest exception. Dense warehouse racking in a tight, well-sealed 1,800 ft3 box can hold a surprising number of bottles on one 7000. That room has almost no aisle and almost no glass. If that is your job, the calculator will say so. If your job is a showpiece with a tasting table, it will not.
Quotes at this scale need a date. Clubs, developers, and collectors who want two cabinets should send L, W, H, glass, and the opening or closing date. We reply on sizing and quantity. Do not ask the public product page to invent a 10,000 BTU model. The lineup stops at APEX 7000.

Will one APEX 7000 cool 5,000 bottles?
Only if the room is at or under about 2,000 ft3 with dense racking and an honest envelope. Most 5,000-bottle showpieces are larger than that. Measure.
